# How do I make buttons work in scrollpane?

Hi I created a movie clip with buttons.When I put the movie clip in a scoll pane the buttons no longer work.  
What do I need to do to make them work?  
Whats the best way of working with less problems, movie first then scroll pane or scroll pane first then create movie?
