# How do I make this effect?

This is what I’m trying to do: [3D layer effect as seen on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie site](http://harrypotter.warnerbros.com/harrypotterandthehalf-bloodprince/dvd/index.html). I want the objects/pictures to move when the mouse moves like in the example.

But I’m pretty new with AS3 and I haven’t been able to find a good tutorial yet on how to do this kind of effect. I found [this tutorial](http://layersmagazine.com/create-a-classic-3d-effect-parallax-with-flash-cs4.html) but it isn’t really what I’m looking for since the movement doesn’t stop when the mouse stops.

There might just be a really simple solution for this but I need your help finding it:|
