I have a movie clip on the stage called folder\_mc.

In the first frame of its timeline it has another movie clip called posterPDF\_mc.

and the following actionscript to make the posterPDF\_mc open a pdf file.

posterPDF\_mc.onPress = function() {
getURL(“posterPDF.PDF”, “\_blank”, “GET”);
};

I have other actionscript which jumps the playhead to a frame 10 when folder\_mc is clicked.

The problem is that I want the posterPDF\_mc button to only work once the playhead is at frame 10 and not on the first frame where you can see folder\_mc.

Is there any way to do this… maybe putting the posterPDF\_mc actionscript in the root timeline and then refering to the posterPDF\_mc that is located in the timeline of the folder\_mc movie clip…?

Much appreciated.
