# How do I play quicktime movies from flash?

Hi,  
I have been trying to figure out how to do this, but I just have no Idea! I’m making a cd-rom and I want to play a quicktime movie (.mov) from the flash projector. I know I can use embedded video in flash, but is it possible to open the video without putting it onto the timeline?  
Can I play it from the flash stage or open it in a seperate window?  
If so, how?
