# How do I resize a dynamic textfield?

I have downloaded the [http://kirupa.com/developer/mx/countdown2.htm](http://kirupa.com/developer/mx/countdown2.htm) and removed the milliseconds in the fla and in the dynamic textfiels. It now works perfectly with days, hours, seconds counting down to a date in the future. Because I removed the milliseconds in the dynamic textfield, I now see a space on the right sight I would like to remove where the three 000 for the millisecs used to be and I would like to make the entire countdown a lot smaller.

However, if I push the resize button in Flash, and change the width and height of the dynamic textfield in pixels, the countdown does not work anymore, it stops counting.  
How do I resize these dynamic textfields?? (They should be very small for the site it will be used in, do I have to change the pixel sizes of all the individual images maybe, or is there a method to resize field?) Thanks for your answers!
