Ok, so I feel brain dead and Christmas is looming near, maybe that’s why this is confusing me…

I just want this:

clientList.content\_mc.clients0.txt.text

to be ran through my ‘for’ loop… but when i stick \* inplace of the 0, it doesnt like it…

clientList.content\_mc.clients\*.txt.text

No errors, just doesnt change…

so… what do i do?

~ Lacuna :love:

Here’s my ‘for’ loop just in case that helps

```auto
for (var i = 0; i<_global.as2obj.client.length; i++) {
		clientList.content_mc.clients.duplicateMovieClip("clients"+i, i, {_x:0, _y:25*i});
		clientList.content_mc.clients0.txt.text = _global.as2obj.client*.attributes.clientName.toString();
	}
```
