Hi all, here’s the site with a scroll bar that I’m trying to create.

The attached file is what I have so far. The main difference between mine and the link’s is that I have mine horizontally and their’s vertical. Also, their scroll bar moves in the direction of the mouse movement, and the speed up/down is gradual (eased). Mine only goes towards the side that my mouse is on. I have a 400x400 movie, so if my mouse is on the left half of the movie, the scroller goes left and vice versa. I would like it to move similar to the link’s page. I’ve been trying all kinds of things and I’m not getting any closer.

I should probably ask one question at a time, but I might as well ask my other question. Right now my scroller will scroll no matter the position of the mouse. I only want it to scroll when it’s over the scroller itself, not just anywhere in the movie. I read something about using hitTest, or something. But dunno how to do it exactly.

Anyway, sorry for the long post. Any help is greatly appreciated.
