# How to build up a portfolio?

Hello all Kirupanians. :azn:

I am having a little problem here. I have studied some graphic programs and HTML and I would really like to be a web designer.

But I am running into trouble. The problem is that I don’t have a portfolio. That is because I haven’t had any interest in being a salesperson. My little dream is just to be a web designer. 🙂

And as I heard, to get a job, you _ **need** _ to have a portfolio. Everyone looks first at your portfolio.

That seems to be a closed circle. \*To build up a portfolio, you need to have a portfolio. \*How did you guys start your career?

In case you need or want to know, below is a list of some of my skills:

Using:  
Dreamweaver MX 2004  
Flash MX 2004  
Photoshop 7 / CS  
GIMP  
Coding:  
HTML  
CSS  
Also a basic understanding of JavaScript  
and to not repeat same things I also have a skill of Using PHP Includes. [/size]
