# How to create a ScrollBar?

Hello!
Im doing this kind of thing in flash, and Im using a dynamic textbox, that shows an external .txt file. And the text is to long for the textbox, so you cannot see all the text.
So I was wondering, how to do a standard/typical scrollbar for the textbox?
Im using: Flash MX 2004 pro

You could get the scrollbar component.

That’s why I said _get_ the scrollbar component. Go to the Macromedia Exchange and search for Flash MX Components. The Macromedia Exchange is easy to find if you search for it at [http://www.Macromedia.com](http://www.Macromedia.com)

upgrade to 7.2, that comes with a scrollbar component
