# How to force/allow smoothing in XML gallery

Hello,

I just went through the tutorials “Photo Gallery using XML and Flash” ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml\_flash\_photogallery.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/xml_flash_photogallery.htm)) and Adding thumbnails ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/thumbnails.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/thumbnails.htm)) and created a sample gallery based on them.

The images loaded displayed in the gallery look pixelated (looks like “allow smoothing” is turned off) in the browser.

Is there are way to set/force “allow smoothing” on the dynamically loaded images integrating the code from the tutorials?
