# How to getGrandChildByName()?

If I know the child is foo and the child’s child is bar  
then I thought I could return a DisplayObject via

```auto
 
myDO = getChildByName("foo.bar") as DisplayObject;

```

But know that doesnt seem to work,  
Is there an easy way to do this ?
