# How to instantly stop all Flash movies?

Hi, I am building a page that has a couple of small Flash movies running – just a few small jpg animations. I have a “Login” link also on the page (not in a Flash movie) which pops up a login window.

I notice that when a flash movie is playing in my browser, the pop up takes a long time to display its page, maybe 5 - 10 secs, because of the Flash animation/s in the window behind. Is it possible for a javascript to first stop all Flash movie actions so that the Flash doesn’t interfere with anything from that time on?
