# How to load a XML caroussel in a external swf?

Hi,

I’m working on creating my own portfolio. The problem is, when I try to import my image caroussel it won’t work. My intention with the image caroussel is that you can scroll through it and take a look at my work.

I’m working with 1 main .Fla (Portfolio.fla) and within that fla file I import a few external swf files.

That’s what I tried to do with the caroussel as well but somehow I get an error and the caroussel doesn’t appear.

The caroussel is build out of a XML file, a CSS file and a .Fla and .swf.  
If I import the .swf I get the following error:

> TypeError: Error #1009: Kan geen eigenschap of methode benaderen via een verwijzing naar een object dat null is. at as3Thumbs\_fla::MainTimeline/frame1()

( **I’m sorry, its Dutch… dont know the translation of it** )

Thing is, I import it the exact same way as the other .swf’s.

Is there anybody that can help me? I’m stressing because I have to finish it all within a few days 😛

You’ll see a few .fla’s and .swf’s and a subfolder called: ‘XML-Gallery’.  
In Flash I’m trying to load the XML-Gallery under the ‘Showcase’ tab, the same way I did with the others.
