# How to load swf file from another folder

if the fla.file and the sun.swf is in different folder

the fla.file is in C:\Documents and Settings\student  
the sun.swf is in C:\Documents and Settings\student\example

what should i type on the parameter.  
i dun understand the [file:///](file:///)

this my script

* * *

on (release) {  
this.fung\_mc.loadMovie(“sun.swf”);  
}

* * *

Simply tell it the folder’s name:

```auto

on (release) {
this.fung_mc.loadMovie("example/sun.swf");
}

```

It’s all relative.

if the swf file is in one folder on top of the fla.file  
fla.file in C:\Documents and Settings\student\example  
swf.file in C:\Documents and Settings\student

if i put on (release) {  
this.fung\_mc.loadMovie(“student\sun.swf”);  
}

there error said cant find in C:\Documents and Settings\student\example\*\*student\*\*

wat the parameter to load?

first, you don’t use a .Fla file on runtime. If you have an .swf and it loads a second .swf, put them in the same folder. I think the \_root .swf needs to be above a called \_child .swf.
