# How to make a news ticker in flash 8?

Hello everybody!  
I am a total newbie in flash and tutorials from kirupa are really helping me a lot!  
Can anyone tell me how to create a simple horizontal news ticker (something like in [bbc.com](http://bbc.com)). I’ve been looking for tutorials for a nice news ticker for flash8 the whole day and couldn’t find any, please HELP! :puzzled:
