# How to make a panning slide show

I’m not sure what this is called, but i’ve seen it done a lot on various websites. I want to have images pan across like a slideshow, but in the direction of my mouse pointer is.

So ideally, I would have a banner with logos/images in it, sliding over to the left, but when I mouse over, it stops. Then, when I move the mouse to the right, the pan would continue going left and when I mouse over to the left, the pan would move to the right, as if they viewer was directing the slideshow direction. Kind of like a how people make the panoramic 360 views, just, I want logos/images to slide across.

Does this make sense? How would do this in Flash CS3?
