# How to script to play a MC followed by another MC etc etc

So I’m making a long 4-5 minute animation. I tried one of these before but had everything on the main timeline and it got out of hand being 10,000 frames long. Eddits kept coming in and changing it was a huge hassle.

This time I want to keep the main timeline clear and have it instead load in short movieclips in succession to make up the long movie. I think it will be much easier to edit the “parts” in the movieclips and rearrange if needed.

The thing I can’t figure out is how can I script (AS3) so that to tell it when one movieclip ends, play this one…when that one ends, play this one. I’m guessing I might have 20-30 movieclips.
