Hi Guys,

Mcnoobie here you may say but Action Script is no way my strong point.

Anyway to the question. I was just wondering if there is a way to start a movie clip after one has finished playing so that they are both not running at the same time. I know you can do this with the timeline but this seems like a messy way of doing it and so was wondering if there was a simple way of getting about it.

Any help is appreciated guys:mario:

Can you be more specific? How much time must pass before the second animation is played? What do you want to trigger it? etc…

Hi Soig, thanks for the reply.

Well want I want to trigger it really is when another movie clip has ended so that they don’t play at the same time. Suppose when come to think of it i could combine the animations in the same movie clip couldn’t I??

soig, any chance you can post the code for playing one movie after the other? would need a one second delay between clips, and would be triggered by a button press. would really appreciate it as it would cut down from the 200+ movies i would require to build to around 22. thank you in advance.
