# How to test the animations?

I have written some Flash animations using ActionScript 3 and I would like to see how it performs under different processor speeds/graphics card.

How do you normally go about testing this kind of stuff? Is there some tool that I could use? I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am new to all these stuff.

i use a virtualization tool, that run a system under pre-specified specifications, can define processor power an ram. Don’t know if this is the best way to do it…  
can use a frame rate reader, like this one from gskinner:

that’s all i know, beside go to the computer next table and test it 😉

Good question, I’d like to know that too.

Luckily I have three computers varying from really good to really bad that I can test my stuff with 😛
