# How to update script for Windows7/IE8 combo

Hi - I have used the **Flash Detect: Image or Animation** script from [http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/detection.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/detection.htm) and it works great… except in the Windows 7/IE8 combo - Flash is not detected and the replacment image is displayed.

I have checked via [Adobe.com](http://Adobe.com) that the Flash player is correctly installed.

I am a designer with no JavaScript coding experience so I need some help on how to update this script to detect Flash correctly for Windows 7.
