# How to use Calendar (Component V2)

Does anyone know what scripting (with php) that I’m looking to perform to use the Calendar Component? Basically, I have scoured the web (with my poor search skills) and haven’t found a tutorial for that component using php in the way I need. I want to learn the basics of it to modify, not just get a plug-in.

Purpose, something to highlight dates when there is something scheduled, let the user click it, then load new movie over it to show details. Any help is welcome.
