# .htaccess isnt working for me

i put this in a test folder and gave the code from the tutorial :  
Redirect /test [http://www.kirupa.com/developer](http://www.kirupa.com/developer)  
i even restarted the apache and it didnt help why?  
thnaks in advance

Depends what you have in you htaccess, and did you configure youre httpd.conf correclty ? Overwrite ALL ?
