hey
i was wondering if i was able to put HTML code into Flash?
i wanted to put a hit counter on my n00b flash website, and i just thought “maybe i can put the HTML in flash… better goto Kirupa to find out”
anyways… can i?

Embeding HTML in flash is not possible–Except for the formatting tags–, you can however use a php script if you have a php enabled host.

If you just want to know your hit counts, you could put a load movie command somewhere on your site that calls a non-existing movie.
This won’t affect your site but it will generate an error every time someone visits.
The errors can be found in your _monthly stats_ page, from your hosting company.
