Hello,

I am currently building a chat room in flash, and am having some difficulty with displaying emoticons. Is there any way to get Flash to interpret an \<img\> tag? I can’t seem to find an HTML object or something of the sort. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Okay, I found the “Render Text as HTML” property for dynamic textboxes. However, I still seem to be having some problems.

dispField is a Multiline textbox that wraps its text.

```auto
_root.dispField.html = true;
_root.dispField.htmlText = "<img src='http://www.removed.com/images/Emoticons/smile.gif'>";
```

Unfortunately, it fails to show the image. Other HTML tags appear to be working, just not the \<img\> tags. Any ideas why?

Thanks,
