no … er well sort of

you can load html formatted text into flash but it only supports html version 1 tags i.e. you can’t use tables or frames.

there are creative ways of getting around this, visually anyway, but i’d really have to know more specific information on the project and problem you’re trying to solve before i could give you a solution.

hope this helps

You can load an HTML page into a separate window using JavaScript code in Flash though.

well they’re right, there are several ways, you can use frames, each frames a different swf file. In the middle your html. Or, you can use an iframe (only IE) and layer it, use javascript for that, or you can make you’re own layer as well, again javascript. There are many ways. But why doesn’t macromedia enable all the tags in flash, it would be easier.

well the thing is, you can do it in a other way, NOT in a text-box. You can use html and hide it, untill you click a button inside your movie. You can position is too. All by using layers

Hi Guys!

This is my first time here on your forums. I’ve almost checked all your threads and loved what I saw. I was recently introduced to Flash and I fell in love with it. So I’ve decided to take Flash MX classes starting tomorrow. Then after that i’ll be able to participate in the forums fully. If i make any mistakes or anything like that please forgive me guys. And looking forward to have flashing sites…

🙂 Happy Flashing everyone !
