Wasn’t really sure where to put this considering I don’t post, read, or even see much of Html on this site. I am not much of a Html scripter, mainly stick to Flash. But I do know some. But here is my question.
I am starting to build my own site, but I am doing it on my own computer for the time being before I place it on a server. I had known how to do this in the past, but I have not done this in a long time and I lost the file that could help spark my memory. I wanted to know how to split the page into certain halfs. For example, after the title image, I have it set so some text takes up the first 30% of the page (left side), 40% in the middle for something else, and the last 30% on the far right side. So its kinda like tables right? I have checked [w3schools](http://www.w3schools.com/) which is a great html resource site. But I have not managed to find anything on it in any area I would think is related. Anyone got some ideas?

EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention. That the file I had before did this by seperating the current page into parts rather than placing other htm(l) files in at certain proportions.
