It took me about 20 minutes to wipe my laptop and install Vista back on (all done with like 5 clicks and no cd’s). Like all I did was hit F8 and hit next next next done. Few minutes later computers back to normal and after the basic windows questions at start up my laptops back to factory settings. This may all seem dumb, but this is the first time I’ve had to reinstall on a dell machine and its so much easier than anything I’ve ever done before. ![](http://forum.kirupa.com/uploads/kirupa/4851/b66b3fd5974dba50.gif) ---

i just bought a dell laptop and it’s the first time is use vista AND I WANT TO KILL MYSELF. It’s slow, annoying and cluttered. I just hope I can upgrade to xp. God, how could they sell that b/s os, and put it ON EVERY PC on the market ??? ---

Which one did you buy? I just bought a Dell laptop a week ago (XPS M1530) and Vista runs really fast. What apps are you trying to run?
