# I am confused

i want to send information from an swf to the internet (i think a database) and get information back, i started a tuturial [http://www.kirupa.com/net/sql\_asp\_introduction.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/net/sql_asp_introduction.htm)  
but i didnt have a iis or something. so i wasted a halfhour downloading stuff that i dont even know what to do with. im thinking this is for masters of flash or something. is this over my head or is there a better way?
