Yeah, I think you could have kept the laptop if you didn’t smoke. I mean, let’s do the math for this. I think a pack of smokes is about 4 Euros over here (I’m not sure, 'cause I don’t smoke, but let us assume). 4 Euros a week, during let’s say 3 years… hm… I’ll stop here, I’m not cruel. 😉
Good luck with the rings. And I’m not amazed that you sold your laptop for your girlfriend (even though I don’t know if _that_ makes her happy). Love is somethin’ strange… _sigh_ 😛
