Something fresh and not too busy. It’s going to be my own personal site [about me, photos…]. So can anyone give me some ideas for the navigation, layout and stuff like that??**[/color][/font] ---

I would make it in flash. 😉 This kind of post has been created many times and been answered many times. Check the SOTW archives, and use the search feature. good luck ---

Oh I read your post and if you read mine, I said use the Search Feature. The flash comment was a joke as you are most likely going to use flash. Your questions about how do I find inspiration… I need ideas… help me design… has been asked many times. There are many posts int he forums with your answers. Search and you will find. ---

I’m probably annoying you by know, but do you think that I can make a decent site without knowing actionscript? I only know basic stuff [goto and play, followmouse…] I never learned the more complex codes. ---

you can make some ok stuff, but it really does start to get a bit complex once you start adding fancy transitions and button effects and stuff… but i guess the way to learn is to experiment, so you might as well start learning stuff. also, plan your site before you start!!! if you know exactly what’s going to happen, you can make it work much better, coz you won’t get all confused and stuff. ---

Yeah I don’t know much AS and I’ve made some OK sites in flash. I know as much JS as I do AS: Enough to understand how to wire a bunch of scraps of code together to get something I want. Beats me what it all says and does though. ---

moluv is not so much an actionscript site as it is an inspiration site, like linkdup. you go there to browe categories of webdesign and find inspiration. ---

lol, moluv doesn’t have as codes, they have inspiration for you to look at and get ideas for your site from, also k10k has lots of inspiration but not as much flash stuff
