“i need to decompile some code…but not to steal anything”
so i always thought people were probably lying when i read that over the years but it just finally happened to me where flash develop and my pc crashed and when reopened, an important class was saved blank, weird
After failing to recreate it for 20 min I decompiled the only existing swf stored in an .apk on my device and there’s my Class hooray! code fixed…end of boring story
hey so theres no AS3 forum category I guess, just flash?

Haha, glad it worked out for you. I had a weird RAID issue that caused some of my files to be shrunk to 0 bytes and only save their names, so I lost a crossword puzzle app I was working on many years ago.

Yeah, I consolidated the categories when we moved to Discourse. We actually had like 100+ subforums, although many were cleverly hidden or had been consolidated previously. Each contest used to have its own subforum, for example.

wow just happened again.
whole pc froze on _test movie_ and when restarted the .as file i was last in was blank.
I did just update to the newest flashdevelop hmmmmmmmmmm

No one would ever need more than 100MB.
