Hey all,

I have a specific question regarding this domain (zheng [dot] com). This is the whois information.

>

Domain Name: ZHENG [dot] COM
Registrar: ONLINENIC, INC.
Whois Server: [whois.OnlineNIC.com](http://whois.OnlineNIC.com)
Referral URL: [http://www.OnlineNIC.com](http://www.OnlineNIC.com)
Name Server: [NEED-RENEW1.OLNIC.COM](http://NEED-RENEW1.OLNIC.COM)
Name Server: [NEED-RENEW2.OLNIC.COM](http://NEED-RENEW2.OLNIC.COM)
Status: REGISTRAR-LOCK
Updated Date: 09-mar-2005
Creation Date: 17-mar-1997
Expiration Date: 18-mar-2006

Does this domain look like it’s abandoned by the owner? Visit the domain - it currently does not have a host configured. I visited the registrar - [onlinenic.com](http://onlinenic.com) but can’t seem to figure out what the heck that site is for/about. There is no domain check or anything. All links eventually lead to the sign up page where you have to fill in a credit card #. Looks fake.

What does the status “Registrar-Lock” mean? I know it’s supposed to expire in March of 2006, but 1) i can’t wait that long ☹ 2) it’s just been inactive for so long.

Any ideas?

Oh and I found a whois tool on their site, that apparently gave different information for that domain than the others:
