# I scream like a girl!

So the other night, late, I was driving home. Long striaght-away going a little uphill on a two lane (oneway in each direction) road with about 20-30 yards from the curb on either side to a forresty area. So Im driving and out of no-where this HUGE fox bolts out of the woods - he was cruisin too. And this wasnt out ahead of me, this was close, real close - not even close enough for me to run him over, but to where if he didnt slow down (which he did) he would have head-butted my car (and probably flipped me because he was BIG!). Anyway he freaked me out a lot - enough to a point where I screamed. Immediately thereafter of course I was hysterically laughing, a little from the rush of adrenaline and just from the fact that I screamed at all - something which, in all honesty, I have no recollection of doing anytime within the past to years, at least not out of fear. But then it struck me that (and this incited further laughter) that I scream like a girl! I was short but really high pitched. :!: … but actually its not a girl, but Homer 😉 I scream like Homer.

Any scream Ive screamed in the past 10 years or so have been direct mockings of Homers scream (just out of humor). In doing so Ive trained my mind to believe that the homer scream is the scream to use to … scream. Its like little idiosyncrasies you might pickup from a friend after hanging around them a lot, especially if you hold them in high regard. Or better yet, girlfriends/boyfriends. Chances are you’ve picked a few habits off your current or past significant others…

seriously…when ur in pain…ROAR!!! it scares and freaks the hell out of people
one time i was in the elevator and some kid pinched me and it was really crowded and i ROARED!!! …you can picture the reaction…all faces turned and stared
i was like…meow…???
