# I think I already know the answer to this question

… and I think the answer is “no”, but I’m going to ask anyway.

Is there a quick way to outline text? (y’know… black outline around white text…)

I know you can draw lines a whole lot and hope for the best, but

1. that takes too long

and more importantly

1. if you use a complex font it’ll probably look clumsy.

Yes…Break apart the font and use the ink bottle tool!

I’d been working with Flash for a year before I knew that you could use the ink bottle to add lines to a fill. 🙂 Go figure… sometimes things just don’t stick.
