How would I know if my memory is in any way currupt or damaged? From what I can see from those two programmes it is working fine but my computer is still running really slowly 
Get new RAM? Check for spyware/adware/virus.
I cant afford new RAM right now thats the problem. I wont be able to for another month so until then I’m stuck with a slow computer. As for spyware etc its impossible- my computer isn’t used for anything that I could get spyware from and I have Norton anti-virus 2003 so…
Doesn’t hurt to check, Norton misses things.
I’ll maybe do a reformat. I need to do one when I get my new hard drive for all my music n **** (my computer is currently a mess and is using an 8gb hard drive for its system disk and all my crap is on the 40 gig that came with it…). The problem is I don’t get payed again until the 9th of september (now just under a month away) so I can’t afford to do that until then, and no matter what I have to do a reformat when I get the new hard drive so that I can make the 40 gig my system disk so I don’t see the point in doing another format in a months time. It all is a tad messed up I must say…
