# Idiotic question - really simple, promised

so this is the script i used :

if (name\_txt.text != ‘’ && email\_txt.text != ‘’ && subject\_txt.text != ‘’ && message\_txt.text != ‘’) {

it’s actually a contact form where users input their name, email and subject.

the question is, how do i make sure that the email slot is an email address again?  
i remembered reading 1 tutorial that says that all you have to do is make sure the slot is filled with at least a “@” and a “.”.

how do you insert that in the action script i have above?
