# If..then issues - very simple i should think

I have a variable **current** which stores the current page and when the user clicks a button i just want it to check a set value linked to the button pressed (ie - home) - bascially it goes…

if **current** is not equal to **“home”** then do some actions otherwise do nothing.

i’ve never had much joy with if…then statements - it’s not like it was on my Commodore 64 anyway…

can someone help?
