hi everyone

I follow patiently the kirupa “sliding menu tutorial” and i pass successfully the test.

I’m trying now to adapt this method to my own images.

I encounter difficulties because the main clip donot stop at the right place. My images are square and big and the one of the tutorial are little and rectangular.

The sliding menu have difficulties to stop at the correct place, and most of the time, between 2 images.

Please help me, and tell me what should i do to fix this problem ?

Should i modify the script or smthg else

Thanks for your help

Best regards

Ik

A tous bonne journée…

Ikyo

I’m going to try to get Pom to take a look at this thread. Not only is he an experienced action scripter, but he’s French and may have an easier time explaining things to you.

In fact my boss ask me to do such an animation for The new year, and \*\* i’m really upset because i can’t come to grips with those code\*\*.

I really don’t understand the correlation between that code
\*on (press) {
\_root.xnew = \_root.mask2.\_x+(2-1)_220/2;
}_
and the size of my clip.

I try many combinations without success.

Please help me …either gimme the adress of that mystery sliding menu new tutorial, either explain me how i can addapt this code for my own animation

Thanks guys
Merci les gars

And forgive all the mistakes in english
