# Illustrator custom brush with decay rate

I’m not completely sure that it’s possible, but is there a way to make a custom brush that starts at a certain rate, and gets slowly smaller until it is a very thin brush? I’m thinking like a 10 point brush that fades down until it is almost gone. How would one go about doing that?
