I’m having a bit of a strangeness.

I designed a layout in illustrator. I made a large slice in the center and four smaller ones around the outer edges. The center slice will be a flash movie and the four outer ones will just be .gifs. All will be in a table in the html page.

When I do save for web I get image ready and tell it what kind of file each slice is supposed to be and all is well.

The html looks great.

BUT here’s the problem: When I drag the swf slice into flash, it’s not a slice.
it’s the whole thing. Including the outer edges.
How can I isolate the slice meant for flash and actually get it into flash?

If you know, please share your knowledge 🙂
