# Illustrator- Please help, simple question

I have a logo that can only be printed in one color on a handbag. The logo contains a blue square and white text on a layer above the blue square.

Is there a way I can make the white knockout the blue or print clear? I need only the blue to show up but keep the cut out of the text.
