# Illustrator Questions

I have a few questions.

When you create a mesh, say a gradient mesh, through: Object \> create gradient mesh\>

Is there a way to keep it a color, because it automaticaly switches to a black and white gradient.

Also, when It is a mesh, is there a way to select multiple points within a mesh, apart using the shift key? (like is there some sort of drag-select?)
