# Illustrator Rulers question

Is there anyway to change the ruler spacing in ILL 10. I know how to change it between like px, points and inches… But right now I have it set to px and the incriments are rather weird. I want the big bar on the ruler to be in some sort of incrent of 10…Right now it goes 0, 36, 72…and the little hashes in the middle are rather difficult to count in those incriments.

I hope someone understands…It is not a knock down emergency but it is terribly irritating.

Aren’t centimeters in units of 10?

I am using px. I wanted those in some sort of increment of 10…

if you right click on the ruler you can change its measurment format. (cm, px, mm ect…)

When you zoom out and zoom in, the increments change. they get more defined when you zoom in. and more broad when you zoom out.
