Hello everyone, I’ve been surfing the site for the past few days looking at tutorials and such but now I am at the point where I want top try them out myself. My question is, are there websites or tutorials that list step by step on how I can learn to take what I make in flash mx (and how to save it accordingly) and publish it in a website. Any help AT ALL will be appreciated Thanks ---

I mean…is there a tutorial site that can teach me how to take my flash documents and put them on a website…Im basically looking for a website that is Flash for dummies… Teaches you step by step on how to use it, and etc. ---

Let me see if I can help. First you need to create a new HTML Document using Dreamweaver or whatever. Then you insert the .swf files in that document and save it. Next sign up to a web site that offers free web hosting, there are many. Once your registered and ready to go there should be a way to up-load the HTML file you created. Your content should now be on the Internet. I know I didn’t really explain it very well but I hope it helps. As for any other questions you may have, these forums are the best place to post em’. ---

Open Flash… go to Help/Using Flash (or hit F1) [edit] No i’m not trying to be a jerk, Flash has excellent help files to learn step by step for beginners. [/edit] ---

Is dreamweaver the only program that can put the .swf files into a html document? ---

No, I mentioned that one because that’s the one that I use and I figured since your using Flash, you probably have Dreamweaver too. But you can use any web design program. ---

if your not sure how to place flash on a web page, follow lostinbeta’s advice or maybe learn HTML, run a search on google, there’s a heap of great HTML tutes around. ---

1. first create the flash movie by opening up the application and make your animations are whatever (start doing tuts here if needed 😉 ) 2. Once you are satisfied with the movie, Go to file\>export movie\>“configure your settings”\>OK. 3. Open up Dreamweaver or any other html editors liike frontpage. At the top, depening on your display options, there is the “red flash icon”. Click the button and locate the flash movie you just made (go to insert\>media\>flash if not there). After this, it will auto. add it to the html page. 4. To upload it to a host, you should use an ftp program. There are many around: [www.ftpplanet.com](http://www.ftpplanet.com). You will need to get the accound info and password. Upload the file and hopefully your done 😉 Keep posting if need be…
