# Image fading in/out

Hello~

Sorry about the newbie question, but I’m not sure how to go about this (I am using actionscript 3).

On the timeline I have a bunch of buttons which point to different frame labels with images and content.

Is there a way that I can make the images fade so that no matter what order a button is clicked, the images will still fade in/out from the previous image?

Please help a poor n00bie out! ☹
