# Images not lining up with Background Correctly...help please

Hey guys,  
Im designing this site right now where I have this relatively elaborate background texture going on and on top of the background I have my image  
aligned center and valigned middle. The image in the middle has a faint drop shadow around it to add some depth. Im running into all type of trouble with this though If i export the shadow as a gif and use transparancy it looks absolutely horrible. If I try to match the background by putting a background behind the shadow when I export it, it matches but only until I minimize my screen.  
Any Suggestions?
