# Import Settings for jpegs

I need help on the proper way to import images into flash. I can create the conten I want in photoshop and save them as gif’s or jpegs’s depending what is better. Then when I go to import them into flash the image look distorted. I have the publish setting set to 100 % and still the image does not look right.  
Please help!
