# Importing mov/avi movies to flash

I can download the movie from the camera to the mac, no problem

I can then use iMovie to convert the movie to a mov or avi file, no problem

I can even import the movie to flash, export it as an flv movie and then display it in the media components, namely the MediaPlayback component

**but…**

with the mediaplayback scaled it tends to pixelate the image, badly in some cases ☹

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong?  
I mean what’s the best settings to export the movie from iMovies?  
Best format for said movie?  
Am I missing something with the scaling of the flv?  
Any help/tips/points to other sites/anything…all happily received
