Hi … Yesterday I was making this splash intro of 1 sec with a cat zooming in followed by a ‘Meow’ mp3 sound… the only problem is that I tried again and again to import the sound file, compressed in as many possible ways as you can imagine , stereo, mono, wav, mp3, 80, 92, 128 etc… and it constantly failed to import… i got this ‘‘error reading file’’ … but the file was not corrupt… i could play it…and even flash could play it when dynamically loaded with a sound() object… I managed to make the thing work using the a listener event and coding … but that is really scaring me because i know i will have projects where i will have to import a bunch of translated narration files, and that will be a catastrophe if it doesn’t work then… Does anyone have a link to some specific specifications regarding sound files that can and can’t be imported in the library ?
