can i insert an animated girf in flash? how?

Where’s what i’d advise you to do:  
creat a blank movie clip, go inside it and then choose File \> Import  
and import you animated gif… It should dislpay the gif frame by frame on your timeline…

Now if you comeback a level higher you will have your actual animated gif…
